The Origin of Football

There is no definite place and time when and where football originated. All we know is that this was being played about three thousand years ago. Football has been in many forms of playing. Chinese, Greeks, Egyptians and Romans have their own style of playing soccer. Rules and regulations are little bit different.

In China, it is called Tsu Chu which is the earliest form of football. It consists of two teams and each team comprises of 12-16 members. They play it by kicking the ball into small nets. This is actually where the ideas for modern football evolved. Moreover, football began to be played during the Han Dynasty.

In England, football first started in the middle of 19th century, and while the sport has not changed much then, its popularity has certainly grown until it spread around the world. This happened in the beginning of the 20th century as England began to trade with other countries throughout the world. However, as the football has been modernized, people were very aggressive that they even kick and punch each other. So at that time, football was temporarily banned by the kings.

Native Americans play football too and they their own name for it. They play using their feet rather than using their hands.

The football league was established around 1888. And FIFA, which is the major association of football league was established in 1904.

So far, football is one of the most famous games in the world. It is not exclusive to men. Instead, it can be played by women too. There are a lot of reasons why people like to play soccer. First and foremost, you do not need much complex equipment to play soccer. All you need is a ball, yourself and an open space. No complicated rules and regulations too so it is very easy to play.
